What is ISO 9001:2008?
The core elements of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Systems Standard provide guidance in the development and implementation of an effective quality management system. Not specific to any particular product, the 2000 Standard is applicable to manufacturing and service industries alike.
A quality management system refers to the activities that enterprises execute internally to satisfy the quality-related expectations of its Customers. To ensure compliance, Customers may insist that organizations demonstrate that they conform to the quality management system. This can be accomplished through the utilization of an independent “third party” registrar who audits and verifies the existence of the quality system and its respective utilization in business transactions. Our quality system is continually managed and maintained by our employees and the senior management team insures timely validation by a certified audit registrar.
