Christopher Smith joined ID Technologies in 2017 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in May 2019. In this position, Christopher is responsible for the overall financial strategy and financial operations at ID Technologies. Including management of accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, and M&A functions collectively in pursuit of company’s growth strategy to grow shareholder value.

Prior to joining the team, Christopher spent over a decade in leadership roles supporting government contractors throughout the DC Metro area. Throughout his career in finance and accounting, he has established a reputation for building world-class departments and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth. For his achievements, RecognizeDC honored him as a 2019 Top Accounting Executive. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and resides in Vienna, Virginia. Outside of the office, Christopher enjoys spending time relaxing with his wife and two young boys.
